KFIT’s founder, Kerry Kaufman, has dedicated her life to enhancing the lives of “seniors” through personal training and group exercise that is safe, customized to the unique needs of older adults, and proven to enhance the quality of lives of it’s participants.
KFITs motto is "It's Never Too Late To Get Active". According to the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, older adults are at a higher risk for chronic health problems like diabetes, osteoporosis and Alzheimer's disease. KFIT's programming is designed to improve these conditions by slowing down the progression or even reversing the condition altogether. Additionally it is known that 1 out of 3 older adults fall each year, a leading cause of injury for this demographic. KFIT’s proven methods of programming will improve strength, flexibility, and coordination to improve balance and prevent falls.
KFIT Personal Training offers a variety of Personal Training Services, including one-on-one training, buddy training and group training. Clients often come with two coequal goals: stay independent and stay out of pain!! Some of the benefits of personal training with KFIT include strengthening your heart and lungs through cardiovascular exercise, increasing muscle endurance and strength through resistance training, and improving balance.
